The promenade with it's 3 piers much of which is free, the comedy carpet and the new headlands in fact just walking along the promenade is a fascinating experience even as far as South promenade, which offers the Great Promenade Show. The amusement arcades are vast and of course free to enter.

 
The Great Promenade Show is an outdoor exhibition of features by some of the UK's leading artists and designers. Lighting features, sculptures and constructions will amaze you with their ingenuity, innovation and sheer scale. It is a variety show or art; some will inspire you, others will frighten you, make you laugh or simply make you think. At night the show takes on other dimensions.

 
It's a good idea to plan your days as you can spend 5 days in Blackpool without spending a penny but if you do want to see and do much more our local transport system has a number of offers.

 
An example of this could be that on the wednesday of half term a saver ticket can be bought http://www.blackpooltransport.com/Savers.aspx just £9 for the family for the day and use bthis to visit St Annes and Lytham have a trip around Penny Farm and use the same ticket to go tpo Freeport in Fleetwood where you will see bargains that will more than pay for your day bus pass, It's also a great way to see the Fylde coast.
